Hill walkers are tested on the hills of Parlick, Fairsnape and Beacon
with its visitor centre and the Lake District is only a one hour drive.
Quiet country lanes made for the cyclist, tea rooms cafes and ice cream
parlours will refresh any tired cyclist. Visit the beautiful local
villages with many places of interest for tourists.
For the more adventurous the Trough of Bowland beckons.
For ready made safe mountain biking try Beacon Fell. Children can
run off steam in Lytham's BMX cycling park.
The Barton Grange Garden Centre and Dobbies are on our doorstep
and we are surrounded by many smaller garden centres.
There are picnic areas at Brock Bottoms and Beacon Fell.
